We are seeking an Environmental Engineer/ Geologist with professional environmental consulting experience and technical responsibility in conducting site assessment and remediation activities for projects in our Irvine region.

What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting site assessment and remediation activities for projects in our Irvine region.
- Developing environmental project opportunities; setting and overseeing schedules, objectives, and budgets, guiding and supporting technical personnel, and offering specialized technical insights or supervision for intricate projects involving multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants.
- Negotiating clean-up goals and closure of sites with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies including the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), Department of Toxic Substances Con-trol (DTSC), and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD);
What You Need for this Position
- About 3 or more years of professional environmental consulting and remediation experience for projects
- Experience managing field investigations and site assessments
- Working knowledge of various sampling and drilling methods
- Monitoring well installations per California Well Bulletin
- Conducting soil vapor surveys in accordance with DTSC protocol
- Reporting per oversight regulatory agency requirements
- Ability to negotiate clean-up goals and closure of sites with federal, state and local regulatory agencies such as United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), Department of Toxic Substances (DTSC), and Air Quality Management District (AQMDs)
- Knowledge of fieldwork, data collection, evaluation, and technical writing skills.
- B.S. Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or related
Bonus skills:
- Professional Geologist OR Professional Engineer license (GIT or EIT is acceptable)
- Strong working knowledge of environmental proposals (i.e. including presentation meetings, planning, site audit, cost breakdown and proposal preparation)
