Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in personal injury cases, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve. This role involves litigation, negotiation, and thorough case management from inception to trial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases in court and during negotiations
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies
  • Manage all aspects of case files including documentation and evidence
  • Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, drafting motions, and preparing witnesses
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies
  • Conduct depositions and discovery processes to gather evidence
  • Review and analyze medical records and other relevant documents
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients throughout the legal process
  • Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and best practices

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active Illinois Bar license
  • 3+ years of experience in personal injury law
  • Strong litigation skills (trial experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in legal research and writing
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal injury law, including medical malpractice, workers compensation, and liability claims

Pay/Benefits
