We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling labor and employment litigation, including discrimination claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other workplace-related legal matters. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected team, take on challenging cases, and advocate for clients in both state and federal courts.
Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
Handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination claims.
Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and briefs, and prepare cases for trial or settlement.
Advise clients on employment policies, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Engage in negotiations, mediations, and depositions to resolve disputes effectively.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop strong legal strategies and advocacy techniques.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Ohio.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and litigation procedures.
Excellent legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for working with clients and opposing counsel.
