Industrial Electrician

Position Overview
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that machinery and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to improve system reliability and performance.
Document all maintenance activities and report any safety concerns to management.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and electrical systems as needed.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with electrical code and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
