Construction Superintendent - Commercial
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction and possess strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed as per specifications and requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and updates, including daily logs, progress reports, and change order logs.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including the project team, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with ground-up construction and expansions.
